Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions regulate the business realtionship between the tennant, the landlord and
santiagocityapartments.com for apartment-rentals.
Reservations
A reservation is confirmed when you receive the reservation confirmation by email from Santiago City
Apartments. To reserve, we require you to pay half of the Security Deposit (see below).
Security Deposit (GD)
The Security Deposit equals one monthly rent. It is required to secure a reservation and to cover eventual damages to
the equipment/furniture of a property.
Together with your rental-contract you will sign a copy of the inventory. The Deposit is fully refundable,
given there are no missing items and there are no damages. In the case of damages and/or missing items,
the Deposit will be used to cover the damage. If the damage exceeds the Deposit, the tennant is obliged to pay
the balance.
Cancellation of reservations
The cancellation of a reservation is possible until 14 days prior to the beginning of your stay.
The Reservation Deposit is not refunded in case of cancellation.
Comission
Santiago City Apartments charges a comission of 20% of a months rent for rentals with a duration of up to 2
months, 30% for rentals with a duration of up to 4 months, 40% for rentals with a duration of up to 6 months
and 50% for all rentals with a duration of more than 6 months. The minimum comission is 30.000 Chilean
Pesos. The comission is payable by the tennant at the time of the signature of the contract. It is
non-refundable.
Check-In and Check-OUT
Together with you, we will arrange a time of check-in with the landlord that suits you. There
will usually be one staff-member present when you enter the apartment to
make communication with the landlord easy for you.
Check out is until 12:00 pm (noon) of the last day you paid. If you wish to check out later, talk to us
in advance. Before you check out, we will perform an inventory with you again, to be sure there´s no
missing / damaged items.
Payment options
All payments may be made by paypal, by wire transfer or in cash (Chil. Pesos/USD/EUR) in our office.
No-show policy
If you for some reason can not arrive on time, please send us a message. If you have not arrived
48 hours from the beginning of the rental period and neither have sent us a notice, the apartment will be
released and we will treat this as a cancellation.
